I just dreamed I overheard ky mother talking to someone on the phone trying to encourage them b because they were going through something and I remember feeling perturbed by her regurgitating what she hears her pastor say on his tapes, but not really having her own opinion or sharing true wisdom, or being truly supportive in that she was essentially overlooking the person's experience. I remember feeling disgusted by that. I then overheard her talking about me so badly and telling all of my personal business in a way that she spun it negatively and made me look bad like I was an entirely different person. I walked in and I confronted her and she continued to berate me and tell lies about me like I was being crazy for responding to her by defending myself. i started cursing her out and suddenly, my maternal aunt whom I viewed like a second mom when I was growing up, started telling me I ought to be ashamed and I started telling her all the things my mom did and said to me and told her because I always saw her like a second mom and she abandoned me because of what my mom said, and by that time I was crying full tears and feeling the weight of how my mom purposely turned people away from me, which robbed me of all my support. my aunt seemed to hear my heart and could tell I was telling the truth, and she told me that she thought that I was a blessing to her and her family when I was little before my mom turned her away from me. and I sobbed and was crying much in pain and the fact that someone finally heard me for a change.
